In the late 1980's Graeme Pearson was gaining a reputation as being on the cutting edge of bicycle design, and he was approached by Cycling New Zealand, about the possibility of building the teams track bikes, and road team time trial bikes, for the 1992 Barcelona Olympic Games. Graeme made a presentation to CNZ, won the contract, and proceeded to build 5 team time trial road bike, and about the same number of track bikes.
Gary Anderson would go on to win New Zealand's first ever track cycling medal at an Olympic Games,(Barcelona) on one of Graeme's bikes.
This bike is one of the team bikes from those 1992 Olympic Games, and is set up as raced by Gary, Campagnolo Ghibli Disc wheel, Hed 650c carbon front wheel, Syntace handle bars and aerobar extensions, Campagnolo C Record track cranks and a Selle Italia Turbo saddle.
The bikes were also used with more 'standard' bullhorn handlebars as well.
